Programmes

Shaishav’s programmes are designed to address the structural and social barriers that prevent children from realising their rights. What began with removing children from labour and supporting their return to formal education has evolved into a holistic, child-rights–centred approach working at both community and systemic levels. Our interventions strengthen access to quality education, amplify children’s voice and agency, and address critical issues such as child marriage, abuse, exploitation, and discrimination. With a strong grassroots presence in Gujarat’s Bhavnagar city and the rural and tribal communities of the Narmada district, and active engagement in state, national, and international child rights networks, Shaishav combines on-ground action with cross-organisational and government-level networking and advocacy. Through partnerships with civil society organisations, government bodies, and like-minded institutions, Shaishav works to amplify children’s voices and scale impact for the greater good of children.
